Steelers Trim Roster to 75

Its a sad time for some Steelers players as 11 players were cut from the roster. The Steelers  released offensive tackle
D’Anthony Batiste, running back Baron Batch, offensive tackle Mike Farrell, wide receiver David Gilreatch, wide receiver Tyler Shaw, cornerback Ryan Steed, linebacker Stevenson Sylvester, tight end Peter Tuitupou, quarterback John Parker Wilson, wide receiver J.D Woods and running back Jeremy Wright

Jarvis Jones is Released From Hospital
Good news Steelers fans rookie linebacker Jarvis Jones, the Steelers number one draft pick this year, was released from a Pittsburgh area hospital after tests were negative on his chest injury. Jones was injured in the fourth quarter loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday night after he came down hard after intercepting a Chase Daniel pass. Jones came off the field under his own power, but was taken to the hospital for further examination. he was released yesterday and is now ready to play in the last preseason game against the Carolina Panthers on August 29th.

Good News For Bell
Le'Veon Bell who was injured in a preseason game against the Redskins got some good news from the doctors. The doctors told Bell that his injury was just a mid-foot sprain and he would not need surgery. There was time line given for when Bell were to return but he said he didn't want to be sidelined for long. All we do know is that he wont be out for the entire season since he doesn't need surgery so that's a good thing for Steelers fans.

A Trade With The Eagles

No more than half an hour ago the Pittsburgh Steelers agreed to a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles. The Steelers traded linebacker Adrian Robinson to the Eagles for running back Felix Jones . In my own opinion I think this is a great trade because the Steelers needed a running back to replace le'Veon Bell who got hurt in a preseason game against the Redskins. So with the addition of Felix Jones it will take some of the pressure off Bell to come back to early.
